Starting again

You Do Not Need to Catch Up

Time away from Steady does not create a debt. You do not need to reconstruct every missed day before planning this one.

Apps often make absence visible through broken streaks, overdue counts, and empty charts. That turns returning into cleanup.

Steady is designed differently. The record can contain gaps. A gap means the app was not used; it does not say why, and it does not lower a score.

Start with the present. Look at your active goals. Pause or release anything that no longer deserves attention. Review Someday only if it helps. Then choose the capacity of the day that is actually in front of you.

An ambitious restart can recreate the same overload that made the system hard to return to. One Tight day and one honest close are enough to restart the loop.

Consistency is not an unbroken chain. It is the ability to return without turning the past into punishment.
