The app gives you a structure: a small set of goals, a capacity for the day, concrete commitments, deliberate closure, and a factual record. That structure can make choices easier to see. It can also reduce the need to keep every open intention in your head.

But a planning tool has limits. If your workload is structurally impossible, reorganizing it does not make it reasonable. If you are dealing with ADHD, burnout, depression, anxiety, illness, pain, or another health concern, Steady is not an assessment or treatment. It may be one useful support among others, but it is not care.

Steady also refuses a different kind of power: it does not rank your life for you. Calendar analysis can describe available and uninterrupted time. Insights can describe patterns in closed days. AI can suggest editable wording. You remain the person who chooses.

That boundary is part of the product. Steady works best as a quiet instrument for attention, not as an authority over your day.
