In the morning, you choose the day's capacity before adding commitments. This puts the boundary first. Then you select a few concrete actions connected to the goals you want to keep alive.
During the day, Steady stays quiet. Your commitments remain visible, but the app does not turn them into a competition.
When the day is done, you resolve each promise. Complete means it happened. Later means it still matters, but needs a fresh decision. Skip means it did not happen and does not need to follow you forward. An optional reflection lets you preserve something worth remembering.
Over time, closed days become a record. Insights can describe when you tend to plan, how your weekdays differ, and where finished work has gone. Those observations are not grades. They are evidence you can use when making the next plan.
The loop is deliberately short because a system for sustainable progress should not become another project to manage.
